She and her family live in Alvin, TX where she serves Heights Baptist Church as the director of special-needs ministry.She's the author of Unexpected Blessings: The Joys and Possibilities of Life in a Special Needs Family and the host of the podcast, Self Care and Soul Care of the Caregiver.
Filled with real-life stories and hard-earned wisdom, Sandra's book "Unexpected Blessings" shines a light on the possibilities and blessings that come when parents realize their new purpose in life - which was God's purpose for them all along. She will also talk about her experiences as director of special-needs ministry.
