Charlene Turner and Diana Floris met in 2011 in Sugar Land, Texas. Both having children with disabilities, they shared a mutual desire to start a school for students with special needs -- a school that would provide a year round education, enhanced by brain-based science. After a camp style tryout in August, 2012 and the acquisition of a license from the Department of Family and Protective Services, True Knight Academy officially opened its first summer camp on June 17, 2013. Since we have added a day school and after-school program.www.trueknight.org/our-programs
